Today we will be going a little in depth with the Love panel which is the center of the Seven Pillars Windows. This one is near and dear to our hearts as it was the first fully completed window of the sphere of light: a monumental art piece intended to educate and inspire the individual while increasing unity and connection throughout the human race. We feel that Love is an attribute characteristic and often leads to putting the others in action.

There are many other words that fall under the value of love such as; Charity, sympathy, empathy, kindness, tolerance, acceptance, esteem, respect, generosity, forgiveness, compassion & empathy. We considered all these characteristics while coming up with the design.
At the center of the Love panel is found a symbol of Mother Earth, in a position of nurturing the human race. She is surrounded by children of multiple nationalities, each of which, in turn, is representing a particular human experience.
The youngest infant on her shoulder is the most vulnerable, gazing at a butterfly with wonder and awe. The butterfly is a representation of the potential for goodness and beauty that is available to us all if we care for and respect each other and this planet, as represented by the young boy carefully holding the caterpillar.
The girl to the right of Mother Earth holds out an origami crane that she has made. This hearkens to the legend that if one took the time and effort to fold 1,000 paper cranes, they were entitled to a “wish” or to special healing for themselves or someone else. Here, the young woman has put forth her efforts towards the healing of the planet itself.
Thanks for tuning in. These are just a few of the key points in the Love panel. If you are interested in learning more feel free to check out the virtual tour section on our website. We hope everyone has a great weekend! We will see you next Friday.
Warmly,
