As we continue sharing more from the Sphere of Light, we wanted to take you behind the scenes of one of its most meaningful elements: the pillar of Love.

Each of the Seven Pillars represents a core principle, and Love is one that touches every part of the human experience. Within these columns, we chose to tell several stories that show what love looks like in real, everyday moments. Not the perfect kind, but the kind that shows up when it matters most.

One of the panels focuses on a young boy returning home from a long hunt. He comes back empty handed, weighed down by disappointment and the feeling that he has failed. You can see it in his posture, in the quiet heaviness of the moment. But what meets him is not frustration or judgment.

His mother runs to him.

There is relief in her movement. She had feared she might never see him again, and in that instant, nothing else matters. Not the outcome, not the failure, just the fact that her child is home. She embraces him fully, and that moment becomes the heart of the scene. It reminds us that love is not measured or earned, but freely given, bringing comfort and renewal.

Another element you will notice is the presence of the Moon. Traditionally, the Moon has often been associated with femininity, and in this design, it represents the vast and beautiful capacity women have to create, nurture, and sustain life. There is a quiet strength in that symbolism. It speaks to the many ways women shape the world through love, whether through motherhood or through the countless other ways they care for and influence those around them.

As we worked through the design and fabrication of this section, these ideas were always at the center. Every detail, every piece of glass, every expression was intentional. We wanted this panel to feel deeply human. Something people could recognize in their own lives.

As you look through these behind the scenes photos, we hope you not only see the craftsmanship, but also feel the story being told. Because at its core, this panel is about a kind of love that is steady, forgiving, and always reaching outward.

Until Next Time,
