Parenting is full of challenges — especially in a world where finding your place can feel overwhelming. With the world at our fingertips, the beauty of connection comes hand-in-hand with constant comparison. For children in particular, it's easier than ever to measure themselves against others in harsh and unrealistic ways.

That’s why the message of each individual’s unique value and purpose has never been more important.
The Piece That Is You is more than just a concept — it's a call to remember our worth. It encourages each person to discover the place they were designed to fit. Look around at your community. Reflect on your strengths — and yes, even your weaknesses. What drives you? What are you passionate about? These questions can guide you toward finding the right place for your “piece” in the greater puzzle of life.

This past Monday, Gayle had the incredible opportunity to speak to over 500 individuals — mostly mothers — who are committed to using art as a foundation for their children’s education. These inspiring women understand just how much the creative process shapes human development and helps uncover each child’s unique gifts. It was an absolute joy to spend time with these amazing souls and share The Piece That Is You with them. A heartfelt thank you to Belle Ame for making this event possible.
Here’s to each of us discovering where we belong — and honoring the beautiful piece we bring to the world.
Best,
