Believe in Him: A Worldwide Exhibition

Writer: Roots of Humanity FoundationRoots of Humanity Foundation

In 2019, Tom and Gayle Holdman, alongside the talented artists of Holdman Studios, completed a breathtaking stained-glass masterpiece— a twenty-by-seven-foot, five-panel window depicting the life and mission of Jesus Christ. This awe-inspiring work was permanently installed in Rome, Italy, a fitting home for such a spiritual and artistic treasure. However, Tom and Gayle were struck with a realization: many people might never have the opportunity to see this artwork in person.

Determined to share its message with the world, they envisioned an even grander project—an expanded window that could be exhibited worldwide. Thus, the Believe in Him stained-glass window was born.

Illuminating Christ’s Story: A Global Exhibition

This magnificent nine-panel stained-glass window expands upon the original piece, depicting additional stories from the New Testament that illustrate the life, mission, and teachings of Jesus Christ. The window first made its public debut in Paris, France, in 2023, followed by an exhibition in London, England, in 2024. It now continues its journey, currently displayed in Washington, D.C., until the end of April 2025.

The purpose of Believe in Him is to bring light and inspiration, reminding viewers of Christ’s teachings, miracles, and compassion. Each panel portrays pivotal moments in His ministry, as well as the transformation of those who accepted His invitation to follow Him. The window serves as a testament to the faith of early disciples who, despite persecution, dedicated their lives to spreading the message of God’s love and redemption through His Son, Jesus Christ.

A Visual Testament of Faith

Standing at an impressive 8 feet tall and 30 feet wide, this traveling masterpiece is designed to immerse viewers in the beauty and depth of Christ’s life. Every intricate detail—from the radiant colors to the delicate artistry—invites visitors to reflect on the power of faith, healing, and hope.

More than just an artistic achievement, Believe in Him is an invitation—an opportunity for all who see it to feel Christ’s love and embrace His message. Sponsored by Roots of Humanity, this work was designed to travel the world.
