In celebration of the launch of the Sphere of Light—a monumental 10,000-square-foot glass installation dedicated to telling the journey of humanity—our foundation is proud to announce a new scholarship initiative for students at Utah Valley University.

We believe that art is a medium that ties humanity together in profound and unique ways. Likewise, individuals who are devoted to creative expression and the betterment of humankind have the power to illuminate our shared future.

That’s why we’re offering scholarships of up to $20,000 per student—an investment in the next generation of thinkers, artists, and individuals who will help shape a brighter, more compassionate world.

Who We're Looking For

These scholarships are open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students at UVU who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 3.2 GPA

  • Majoring in Visual Arts or pursuing a degree that is demonstrably aligned with helping humanity

  • Passionate about making a meaningful impact through their work

Why Now?

The Sphere of Light is more than just a structure. It’s a symbol—a gathering place of stories, cultures, and human experience. As we begin constructing this global beacon of hope and beauty, we want to invest in students whose goals align with its core message: to enlighten, uplift, and unite.

This is an opportunity to be part of something much larger than yourself, to be inspired by a work of art in progress, and to bring your own light to the world

How to Apply

Applications are open from now until June 15th. Interested students can apply HERE.

We can't wait to see how you will help shape the future—with purpose, with passion, and with light.

Best,

  • Roots of Humanity
